It had to be you - Sitcom

A young American arrives in London in hopes of starting a writing career. Having been just recently ushered out of the American Army on a Section Eight he quickly finds himself falling in love with a feisty English daddy's girl and her with him.

Daddy takes an instant dislike to the young American. In his mind there's little to debate on the subject as everything the young man does seems to affect his daughter in a counter productive manner.
